As we were on our Sunday walk we went by this Catholic church. Ironically, when I was a young elder I attended a mass and a wedding at this same church. We then saw this olive grove. Some of the trees are said to be over 500 years old. The picture on the left is a woman selling bread from her bread cart. It is just after 5:00 In the morning when Karen got up. Throughout the city bread is sold like this every day.
On Tuesday it was Karen and I's second year anniversary. We worked in the mission office until about 2:30. Then caught a bus to Jockey Plaza and to Bennihana's to eat. From there we caught a taxi to the Lima temple to go through a session.
On Wednesday at 8:00 am, we had Zone Conference at the Magdalena Chapel. Sister Cleverly and I had to go up to the pulpit and bare our testimonies. After the meetings were over Sister Elmer and the President took the office staff and his two assistants to lunch at Chili's. We got back to the office around 4:00. We worked at the office until close to 9:00.
