Max

We received our little Max. He is seven years old and is a Bischon. We got him from the Bischon Rescue in San Diego and a sister taking her daughter to BYU delivered him to us. He and I go for about a 30 minute walk each morning and night. He and I are both over weight and this walking is beneficial for both of us.

Sept 11, 2010 - Sept 12, 2010

All the siblings together. Dean, Gene, Kay, Jackie, Lyle and Dale.

We had a barbeque in Bobbi's back yard. It was put together at a short notice from last night when I ask if we could all get together.

Schism elementary school. Dean and others went three years to this school.

This is the house that mom and dad moved to from the tiny house we had on the Oregon - Idaho border. My bedroom was the upstairs window overtop of the bay window. The red barn was there also.

When I got married this is the house that mom and dad lived in and was the last house that they owned. Mom died with a heartattack in this home on a Sunday while everyone else was at church.

Nampa high school where everyone attended but Lyle, Gail, Jerry and I.

Sept 10, 2010 - Oregon

Dean, Claudia, Megan, Karen and I took a little jaunt over to Adrian and the places we use to live. Claudia is standing in front of a harvested Hop field and Karen in front of one yet to be harvested.

My family lived on the state line of Oregon and Idaho. In fact we owned property in both states. We slept in Idaho and ate in Oregon and attended Oregon schools. The farm was in the Big Bend area.

Sept 9, 2010

We attended Brocks Soph football game. Northridge vs Bonneville. Brocks team won.
That night we slept at Chuck and Andreas in Charlys room. She left me this note.

Then we went to Easton soccer game and ate dinner with Chad and Nicolle.

On our way to Brandons we stopped at the Arch in St Louis and went to the museum.

The museum depicted the west and the Luis & Clark expedition.

Inka Shops

Inka Shops
There are hundreds and hundreds of little vendors selling their wares from clothing, dolls, purses, jewelry etc. We didn't buy anything but got a good idea of some of the things that they have.

Highway

Highway
One of many highways in Lima. This is Avenida Arequipa that runs north and south. Maybe 9-10 blocks from our apartment. During rush hour this road will be packed.

Miraflores from the air
On our P-day we went to Miraflores and ate at a fantastic restaurant just above the cliff. The tall building in the background is the Marriott hotel. The name of the restaurant was Mangos. It was buffet.
