P day to Gamarra again

Last week we went to Gamarra and I bought two shirts, of course they didn't fit. So yesterday I was able to take them back as Karen wanted to buy some material to have some blouses and skirts made. They wouldn't give me money for the shirts but only exchange them. The only thing they had in my size was a grey shirt so I gave them to Elder Malale and he got him two white shirts.

I went inside a building and went up a floor and took a picture of elder Cooke (Layton, Ut.), Karen, Elder Malale (Bolivia) and elder Hales (Las Vegas, Nv.)
Looking up the street. Every block is like this looking in any direction.
Looking down the street. Double click on any picture to have it enlarged.
Double click on the picture and you can see suits selling for 100 soles which is just a little over $30 dollars.

Inka Shops

Inka Shops
There are hundreds and hundreds of little vendors selling their wares from clothing, dolls, purses, jewelry etc. We didn't buy anything but got a good idea of some of the things that they have.

Highway

Highway
One of many highways in Lima. This is Avenida Arequipa that runs north and south. Maybe 9-10 blocks from our apartment. During rush hour this road will be packed.

On our P-day we went to Miraflores and ate at a fantastic restaurant just above the cliff. The tall building in the background is the Marriott hotel. The name of the restaurant was Mangos. It was buffet.
